Hi folks,

I've been doing some research into flying boat operations off the south coast of England during 43/44, and in many of the reports I've come across phraseology like "[Operation] Busby in force/effect tonight".

The ONLY mention of Busby on the web that I can find is WW2Chat's list of Operations, where Busby is defined as "Air-Naval against enemy blockade runners". But that's it!

Does anybody have any more info on what/where/when/how of Operation Busby please?

Mucho thanks,
RAC
