A very good site, but why does it only mention the WW2 built destroyers? Where are the old WW1 destroyers such as the V&W Class that served as destroyers and fast action escorts throughout the war? eh? EH?!

A bloody good point, Kitty. I was wondering where the ex-USN four-funnelled lend-lease ships were as they were certainly of WWI vintage. Perhaps that's what they mean by flushdeckers?

However, fear not as the Vs and Ws have not been ignored!

Ah the little beauties! I know a lad who served on Westcott. And still trying to find out why the Woolston and Wolsey were special after their conversions. Can't see anything on the plans we have, which are approximately 12ft long
