DefaultRN & Others Day by Day.

A wonderful website that lists all ship movements and naval actions by day in WW2. Very comprehensive, and mentions every ship that can be found. Due to the size of the work it is not yet complete, but well worth using.

    Kitty,

This is a very good and comprehensive site. Don Kindell's work is very well respected.

    Hi
I'm not sure if Kyt referred me to this site or whether I found it all by myself! Mike Holdoway was extremely helpful to me in trying to trace the ship that my Dad left the UK on and it looks as comprehensive.

Never ceases to amaze me how many cruisers the RN had. Always seem to be seeing names I haven't heard of.

I think they almost made sure the name had little relation to the capabilities of the ship!
