    DefaultB-29 Superforts were pressurized

I can see why this would be more comfortable, for the pilot and crew. But didn't that
make the fight more dangerous? Should a bullet purforate the thin skin of the plane.

Does anyone have any data on how well Superforts did, compared to B-17s? In other
words, how much more effective were they, with computerized gun sights and that
    kind of advanced technology.

the idea of presurising the cabins allowed the 52's to fly high enough that the chance of a fighter getting up there was negligable in the Pacific war. The 52's used height as their greatest weapon
