DefaultTV Show - Once a soldier

For the past month I have been watching a TV show called "Once a soldier" It is about a Military Hospital in England that look after old veterans. They have their own little room and they all wear a uniform. Has anyone else seen this show ????

    Hi,
Just check out Chelsea Pensioners which is the name of these old guys. They are looked after at the Chelsea Hospital n London and are buried at Brookwood Military Cemetery when they pass on. All are ex-serving service personnel and keep the rank structure they had while serving. If i remember rightly they are all NCO's with no officers being admitted.
All the guys are so friendly and always welcome people to ask them questions. Amazing bunch of guys, met a load earlier this year at a reunion for the RAOC. I was on the same camp witht them doing a first aid course. They have not long allowed women into this elete club as well. If you can watch the RBL Rememberance show at the Royal Albert Hall the saturday before rememberence sunday the few that are on parade will always have at least 300 years service between them.
They are held with the highest regard here in the UK.

Very special boys and now girls. The Royal Hospital at Chelsea is several hundred years old, with the only criteria being they were NCO's and are all single or widowed. They are allowed one shelf of personal belongings each in their rooms, the rest is given up in order to enter the home. They are extremely well looked after and they are very special to us all in Britain.
