    DefaultANZAC Weekend

    Hi All,

The ANZAC Day long weekend is shaping up to be a memorable one at Temora.

In addition to the regular fantastic Temora flying display, there is a 'Forward Air Control' reunion and the annual Antique Aeroplane Association fly-in taking place. Upwards of 100 aircraft may be attending.

If you can make it, it should be a 'goodie'.

I'll try and post some pictures after the event.

    Cheers

Three hours from Bowral. But I might be able to shave a bit of time off that....but just a bit.

What's the equivalent of a namedropper in discussions about forms of transport? :-P

    Mate,

The time advantage comes from straight line navigation rather than grunt.

As a young instructor I remember watching cars overhaul me as I fought the westerlies on the way to Bathurst.

I could think of nothing better than flying in to attend an airshow.

My wife and I live on a small grass strip airport and its our annual fly in the first weekend in May. We will leave our aircraft parked (Cessna 172) and enjoy seeing all the visitors.

Nostalair, as a member of a Parachute Team I have participated in many airshows throughout Europe and the U.S.A. Been a lot of fun but behind me now!
