I only have one signed book of note - 'Flying Colours. The Epic Story of Douglas Bader' - Laddie Lucas.

Bader very kindly signed my copy when I met him in 1981.

Hoping I'll come across Rolfe's series in the discount stores soon althought I've been on a book buying ban again to save some money.

Good pick up, Kyt. I've just added Steve Darlow's Sledgehammers for Tintacks to the collection ciomplete with book plate from my guardian angel in the UK!

As regards the firstpost in this thread, I received a very pleasent surprise when I was contacted by Commander Vibert, who had seen my post and wished to correct a few errors in my information.

Thank you Commander Vibert, and Pauline for facilitating the contact.

BTW I have taken the liberty of removing the address from the top of the letter, as I think Commander Vibert wouldn't really appreciate unsolicited mail

That's a very nice personal touch Kyt.

I'll have to work how to scan some of my signed books. I just can't seem to get them flat enough on the scanner.

Cheers

Owen
