My Collection

I have been collecting Trench Art for a couple of years.
Mainly Royal Engineers stuff, for my great grandfather.
And K.O.S.B, Highland Light Infantry, Queens Own Cameron Highlanders and Black Watch, for his four brothers who also died in the Great War.I have all their cap badges, and silks for each regiment. And a Black Watch Hackle.

Some shrapnel I found in Ypres.
A Princess Mary 1914 Christmas tin, Bullet Dagger with YRPRES on it, R.E Shell Jug (French Shell)
A ink pen, post cards, WW1 Helmet, lighter, bullet lighter with R.E Button, R.E Buttons, R.E Match Box Holder x 2 and Repro stuff Tommy would have had.

I have started to by WW2 Medals, for my two grandfathers, and I have cap badges too.
And will have a look if I can find anything to do with Burma.

Christmas is coming so I will have some more Trench Art I hope.

Yes I will take some later or tomorrow.
And post them here, hope it's easy to post them.

My Five Scottish cap badges are in a Box Frame, on Black Watch Tartan, with a Red Black Watch Hackle.

Repro Trench Foot Soap lol

Does Kitty collect Trench Art too? It's additive.
I really want a Dead Man's Penny, (death plaque) but trying to find on with MUNN on it.

To post, use the "Go Advanced" button below the message box, and then scroll down to "Manage attachments". You may need to resize them as there is a 1Mb limit per picture at the moment. And if you more than 5 pictures then you'll need to post them in seperate messages (5 max per message). If you have any problems let me know.

I don't think Kitty has any trench art but she does collect a lot of crap, sorry, some highly desirable items

I'm sure she'll share pictures if we ask nicely.

Okay I'll show you mine, if Kitty shows hers too.

If I have problems (knowing me I will) I will send them to you to post.

Time to cook kids dinner now.

Great, it works. And no need to apologise. WW1 is just as acceptable, especially if it's a member' family.

Ah, don't they do a decent curry in Bristol?
Last curry I had was dads 60th, down Kings Road.
Rogan Josh for me, or Madras.

The photo of my great grandfather Andrew Brown McAulay Munn,
he died in France, and is buried in Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres.
