The WORLDS FIRST bullpup, Designed in 1901 for cavalry regiments and chambered for the .303 SAA Ball round, Internal magazine holds around 5 rounds. Never entered mass production.
For a bolt action weapon it seems a damn daft idea. The bolt seems to far back.
Can you provide more details about the weapon as I can't find anything of use on the web except the same picture? It would be interesting to read reports on the trials and why it was rejected.
