You're Top Poster: #3   | Assistance in Photographing Headstones of RAAF Deaths in WW2 I have attached the list of countries where RAAF personal are buried. If you can assist or know of someone who would be prepared to assist, please let me know. Unlike many of the sites available for headstone photographs, these photos will eventually be available through a website free of charge. Details of burials in any of the 65 countries can be posted on request if you feel you know someone who presently lives in that country or is planning a visit. You're Top Poster: #2 | Geoff, I spoke to Mark Lax (RAAF G/C I think) last night. He's the author of Alamein to the Alps, the history of 454 Sqn RAAF. Bloody nice bloke. He said he had just come back from Singapore and can provide 300-400 photos for your project. Am about to send him an email so will cc you on it so he can get in touch with you.

You're Top Poster: #3 | I just had these colour photographs's sent to me by a WW2 POW who escaped from an Italian camp to Switzerland. These are from Udine in Italy. The scans came out marvellous. Their squadrons according to the Roll of Honour "Posting at Death" The latter two deaths occurred on the same day 21/2/1945 ..450sq RAAF...614sq RAF...3sq RAAF Udine 410035 Brown_BW.jpg Udine 419704 Rennison_I.jpg Udine 421820 Neubeck_WF.jpg RIP
