I don't think my ship or Merchant Navy knowledge is good enough to make any connections so am hoping Hugh and some others can make some links to the pics Keith has graciously posted.

If you read the details posted under the drawings they do, in most cases name the actual ship the drawing was made from. As of 2007, all reservist insignia has been removed from RNR rank badges. So as far as I am aware there is no distinction between a regular and a reservist at least as far as uniform is concerned.
