Rob McNair also had DFC and 2 bars, plus the DSO. He certainly was a hero, particularly with his post-war act of bravery to save the passengers of the downed North Star transport in Vancouver. Rob died in 1970 of leukemia I don't know of Vincent Woodward, only Vernon Woodward and he only had one bar to the DFC. Maybe there is a Vincent as well??
