Bwmp

Just heard its offical that the BWMP are now defuct. Both the directors have fallen out and the site will certainly not be coming back, certainly not in its current form.
One of the directors has promised a bigger better site but he has lost all creditability with the volunteers and all the volunteers resigned at the same time. I believe that the other director is going to try and put the project back together but under a different umbrella. He does have close links with the CWGC and is probably going to work alongside them.
Take care
Mike

Unfortunately it seems to be the way of the web - I despair at the ethereal nature of some projects that showed such early promise.

You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)

Look anyone wants an argument I am quite happy to oblige. I'll just diss your favourite topic and away we'll go
