Would you like me draw an arrow to the header so that even an Aussie couldn't miss it?

I wasn't a fan of the Halloween skin either but appreciated Lee's efforts as it was worth a chuckle! Looking forward to any Poppy one that is done. Believe it or not, my sister is getting married on the 11th within throwing distance of the state war memorial and you'll never guess what time she's scheduled to start.

I have argued with here for six months to get it changed and have resorted to telling her to arrive fashionably late and telling my mates who are bringing some old cars for her and her fiance to "take their time". Dumb, dumb, dumb! Jodi and I shall be wearing poppies at least.
Kings Park? She has good taste. You can throw a rock on top of my old flat from there.

Aha, the poppies have just appeared! Excellent, Lee! I'd almost like that, or a version of that (or even an inclusion of that pic somewhere) as the new header!

Do you mean in the header Spidge? You may need to clean out your cache.

If for the lapel - I wonder if Kitty posts one tomorrow it would get to you in time (she'll be standing on street corners tomorrow - nothing new there then )

Don't know a thing about website design and could hardly be called creative, but would it be possible and would it fit aspirations, if the poppies were to gradually fade into the the Header text?

The poppy is one of my favourite flowers. It is truly beautiful, simple and elegant and to me it epitomises everything about the war (s) in a single symbol, from the tragic loss to the birth of future generations.

Hope you both can see them down there now!
Regards
CTNana

Spidgeman, after seeing Kytman's post about drawing an arrow to point out the poppies, I was left wondering what he was smoking cos I still couldn't see them. Several hours later, in coming back to the site (hadn't logged off), I refreshed to see if any new posts were up and the poppies appeared. I loves them!

Managed to get some great poppy shots in Gallipoli, CT. Will dig them out. How about we start a poppy thread?
