I feel like I'm in a parallel universe because my screen background is white. I've black text with blue names which go magenta after I have clicked on them.
I like the screen when there is the least extraneous information particularly if it is a long post with closely typed text.
It is also quite nice to be able to change the presentation with the drop down menu.

p.s. what do the ratings mean and who allocates them?
p.p.s. Has anyone else got gremlins moving the screen up and down?

Reason: forgot about the ratings
Lee to the left of, in this case, your name there is a blue paperclip on a black background. Underneath this there are three gold and two blue stars on a black background.
I could have just said the ratings by some threads on the Portal Menu, couldn't I?

Yes, just for today that's the colour scheme that I see.
The paperclip that you're referring to indicates that that particular thread has attachments. Those without paperclips means no attachments and just contain text or embedded images. That's all

rather strange that your browser isn't showing the same as ours. We had a look at all your settings that we could this end and they are identical to a lot of members. I'm afraid it maybe something on your end but have no idea what it could be.

My main concern would be to be distinctive from the "old site", which is grey/green, and our (pre-halloween) colours were too similar. A bit of red and blue perhaps?
Is the Halloween scheme a standard vbulletin option or is it all your own work?! If the former, how much scope do we have for design? Basically I would say keep it simple and uncluttered, but maybe something representing all the main services - land, sea, air, not too clearly biased to one or other nation, and perhaps a holocaust image if you consider that to be a major area of the site.
