And the news gets better

I have owned the domain ww2radio.co.uk for years and it was running some 3,000 tracks that you could listen to while you surf, then someone claimed it belonged to them and it went into dispute with the registrar, just got an email from godaddy to confirm that ownership has been passed back to me and the case has been closed!

Well done, Lee. Does this mean that the radio player will be back on the site? And 3000 tracks? Now there must be some treasures in there.

Yes, I still have the site files, it will just take a while to upload them, apart from the music of the time there were many radio shows on there such as:

Mercury Theatre
Groucho Marx
Vic and Sade
Captain Midnight

All the news programs announcing things like pearl harbour are all there too!

Good to see some things work out right.

My Avatar is the memorial to the 22 Commonwealth Coastwatchers at the Temakin Cemetery on Betio (Tarawa Atoll) who were beheaded by the Japanese on 15th October 1942. http://www.dva.gov.au/media/publicat...mem_beito.html

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)
