I only sell true crime.
Chick Lit I pass on or give to the charity shop, biographies I keep.

I went today, to the book shop today in E&C.
Had a look at their military section.

I have just read Last Post, great book.
Poor Tommy, all those lice.

Days like this the subways are usually flooded.
Why did I ever move to South London !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like their books, easy to read, I bought them for my son, before our trip to the Somme and Ypres.

I actually miss Balham, and the surrounding areas. Lived in Tooting (3 mins from Bec station) for 6 months first, and Tooting High Street was great for shopping. I never thought I'd miss having Indian shops around until I moved to Bristol. Can't get decent garam masala for love or money around here - now order it by post But then again, having grown up in Southall, I was spoilt for choice

But I don't miss the commute across town, or the mad pace of the place.

I own some really really awful trash but the thought of selling them brings me out in a cold sweat

Have been Tooting a couple of times shopping.Mum in Law lives in Clapham South.
Don't really know it well, I am a West London girl.
Been in South London too long, and planning to move to Devon eventually.

Oooh Mexican food for me

Keep meaning to try a curry down Brick Lane, never seem to get the time

I have no room to keep my books.
I have so many.

Pah - Mexican food - wimps.

Brick Lanes OK, but too many tourists. Some good local ones in Tooting or if you're feeling adventurous then Southall has to be the place.

Room? Who needs room - I usually have to climb over a pile or two to cross the living room (and I wouldn't have it any other way - maybe that's why I'm now single )

I remember seeing a grave of a 15 year old boy.
And the tour guide Bill, told us there is a grave for a 13 year old boy.
Very brave boys, who must never be forgotten.

Amazing the lengths some kids went to to join up - if only they'd really known what was going on.
