Smile Hello Historians!

Hi Everyone!

It was nice to find a community dedicated to WW II history like I am. My name is Steve Terjeson and I run World War II History and the blog World War II History. It will be nice discussing things with you here and digging into some of the information from the past.

I am a big collector of WWII photos as well and am working on slowly getting them online to share. If you have any you would like to share I would love to see them

Also, if any of you like to write articles I would be happy to post them on my blog.

Talk to you soon,
Steve

I have always loved history, and military history most of all. I actually had a minor in world history. I enjoy studying and collecting WWII tidbits, stories, photos etc. They hold a lot of meaning for me from family stories as well.

I wanted to try and do my part in collecting and preserving as much of the WWII history as I can because we are coming to the turning point of it being no longer living history.

Hope you all have a great week!

-Steve

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)
