You're Top Poster: #35 | hi every-one.only joined yesterday .already feel at home.did a quick post .feeling my way. do not want to post on wrong site.have war photo.s need to learn how to put on site.fred as a few pages on his life in the second world war.ran for six weeks i belive. the vactican radio mentioned was a prisioner of war.in 1942 ,.did not know selby listen to it .? eased my grandmothers worries .at least know where he was. i live in bungay suffolk. am researching my family tree . with a name like mine .smith not been easy.have noticed there are a few of us .ha.ha,ha, no it been fun really . plus am doing war research . done fred father . and my grandfather.have doc . some burnt. alas. cannot complain as some people are unlucky . and found destroyed. thanks for the welcome to this site . mike |
