No, the only thing I really needed was a date or range of dates for a crash. And his buriel seems to be in the right locale.

I can now ask some people who own the appropriate volumes (there's always one more book that I need to buy) to check for accidents and any details.

Will get back to you when I hear anything

What a coincidence. Looking at his age it looks more like he was finally coming home from National Service rather than just coming home on leave. I remember it as being a local tragedy, not in Essex!!!

Vickers Valetta C Mk1 VW832 going from Aqaba in Jordan to Habbaniya in iraq but within five minutes of the place taking off it crashed killing everyone on board. The aircraft lost its left wing after encountering clear air turbulence.

I have to find the 3 RAF crew names but the passengers were:

That is definitely him. I was so sure that he was coming home because it was the end of his National Service but obviously not. 50 years ago!! I wonder if his sister is still alive?
