Meteor For Sale

Here's a link to a Meteor up for tender. Unfortunately, there are no London trips on my horizon these days.

Dad flew it as A77-876 with the RAAF. It gets you thinking....

Cheers

Amazing that this would be offered up for sale. The last Meteor to leave the UK was Temora's Mk 8?

I bet! With a reserve that low I can't imagine the temptation you must be going through to own a warbird that your dad flew!

You're right David. That has been a personal goal for many years.

I flew in a RAAF Tiger Moth once that he trained on. It was a tremendous feeling to sit in the same seat and actually get to fly the Tiger.

Cheers

I wish I had a garden

And one large enough for the Sea Fury too:

Outside storage?! Shame on you, Kyt! However, save your pennis as I'll have a decent shed soon so you can park her there...
