Vargas and Petty. So very talented. Those girls flew more missions than anyone else too!

Is it just me or can you look at most of those girls and picture about 10 aircraft with the same girl in varying stages of undress, colour, quality? The guys must have really got attached to their ladies.

Yes, there's tonnes of pics where a crew member is seen with his hand on the noseart for good luck. A bit difficult to do on a Lanc, Halis, Stirling or B-17 but easy on a Lib, Mitchell etc!
