Most "Fun" WW2 Movie

Wherever one looks on the interweb, people are listing the best/worst WW2 film, but what about the most fun - one that maybe you would normally be too ashamed to admit to liking because it's inaccurate, implausible or just plain silly.

I love Kelly's Hereos, Guns of Navarone and Very Important Person

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065938/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054953/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055593/

They're all silly and unrepresentative of the war, but I'll always settle down with smile on my face when they are on because I know I'll enjoy watching them.

And I also love The Goose Steps Out with Will Hay (actually I love all Will Hay films):

I also love to watch Kelly's hero's (Love Donald Sutherlands character) and reminds me of MASH for some unknown reason.

Guns of Navarone is another one of my favourites predominantly for the cast and the script.

Sadly, there are quite a few movies that were made deadly serious however they fall into the funny category or just plain unbelievable.
Pearl Harbor being one of the later prime examples.

Definitely Kellys Heroes. Pure class.

Guns of Navarone. What was the follow up in the 70's where they had to low up the dam? That was good.

Way To The Stars, a serious and true account, but tremendous fun.

The Wooden Horse. Now there is a good film.

For enjoyment value, it is okay however people try to correlate the movie with the real WW2 which is just as stupid.

Its a good no brain film. and it as one of the Fox brothers in it as an explosives expert. What more do you want?

Waterloo Road (I think thats the one) is good. Poor John mills running around AWOL.

Has anyone else seen an obscure "documentary" called: All This and World War, Too. It is a compilation of WWII film footage, from multiple sources, set to Beatles songs being performed by artists other than the Fab Four themselves. I Googled the title and got very few hits. I saw it in a theater that was soon to close, in the late 1970s.

Another obscure film: Coming Out Party. British made film. About the plight of POWs and the clever way one figures to escape.

How about The Clear Blue Sky. A Czech film (subtitles & in part in English). About fighter pilots who escape Nazi occupation to fly again over England.

I have to say that I have not heard of any of the films that you mention, but try and seek them out! Thanks!

How about 1941? I know is was supposed to be a spoof but it had its funny moments.
