Land Too Late the Hero (I know..... but I like it) A Bridge Too Far Cross of Iron Sea Midway Sink The Bismarck Social/Other Schindlers List A Canterbury Tale The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (I love this film) Knockabout Fun Dirty Dozen Kelly's Heroes Guns of Naverone POW The Great Escape (the greatest film ever made.....probably  )The Wooden Horse Very Important Person (absolutely hilarious film with some of my favourite actors.....James Robertson Justice, Leslie Phillips, Stanley Baxter, etc etc etc)

Lets give it a few days and then make a master list. Also, some I have never heard of before? For years I thought "Guns of Naverone" was a true story. Where are the Australian ones - or are those the ones I don't recognize? |
