You're Top Poster: #4   | Why?! There comes a moment in a day, usually whilst at work, that you stop and think 'Why the hell am i doing this?' Had one of those moments today. had to stand on a pontoon today, in the middle of a thunder storm, to bring in and secure rowing boats. Was in full water proofs and one of those Australian stockmans hats (which i have waterproofed) but by the time I had done the work and walked back up to the office, the non-breathable waterproofs meant I was just as wet as if I hadn;t worn them. Why the hell do i bother with waterproofs in the summer? What about you lot?

You're Top Poster: #2  | Have to admit to battlilng that a bit myself lately as we've been pretty quiet so I've been trying to keep motivated. Pain the proverbial though and makes it hard to get up in the morning. Over it now.

You're Top Poster: #4 | Andy you ok? Lee, I am doing volunteer Ranger/Boat Handler work at Rudyard Lake in Staffordshire in order to get experience to apply for jobs. Just how it worked out today. i tend to whizz around in a ranger boat, sometimes with the diesel engine that is considerably more fun than the electric outboards, bringing in and taking rowing boats back out to moorings. Occasional driving of the trip boat (a WW2 captains cutter launch from HMS Obdurate). Tidyign up. cleaning, basic DIY, etc etc etc

You're Top Poster: #4 | Funny you should say that.... problem is due to inland water rules they've limited her engine, but god she can still shift. I understand in the sea swell she drives like an utter dream. Please excuse the crapness of the images, they're from my old phone.
