Australia Votes Today

Today is the Australian Federal Election day.
A great socialist evil threatens Australia. It is even possible that our own Prime Minister of nearly 12 years will lose his seat today.
Let me explain this situation to members outside Australia.
Mr Howard holds the seat of Bennalong in Sydney. During the last few years, Bennalong has become a seat with an Asian population of 20%.
They the Asians, mainly Chinese and Koreans claim publically that they are voting virtually en mass against Mr Howard to punish him for his strong stance on illegal Asian boat peoples arriving here.
These same Asian migrants who migrated here through the stewardship of the Howard government intend to get rid of Mr Howard today and replace him with a female, socialist journalist with no experience.

As an Australian patroit whose family came here as pioneers and cut this country out with an axe, I wonder like many others how we got to this.
Will the Australian people reject this wrong turn for the country?
Watch this space tomorrow.

Good luck today all those on the side of the forces of light.

Such is democracy - the freedom of citizens to choose the way they vote.

Personally I don't vote for any of the main parties because I'm a true left-winger and none of them represent my views. And I don't vote for the Socialist parties because they don't stand in this area.

Funny old world isn't it

Appears to be a major loss for Howard - both party and himself out, with a very large shift in votes and support.

When they stuff up the economy, which they will, it will be

"I didn't vote for them".

My Avatar is the memorial to the 22 Commonwealth Coastwatchers at the Temakin Cemetery on Betio (Tarawa Atoll) who were beheaded by the Japanese on 15th October 1942. http://www.dva.gov.au/media/publicat...mem_beito.html

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)
