Only a mosquito bite initially but it turned into a huge welt!

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)

Great photos Kyt.

I believe some of those are also available online here: National Museum of the USAF - Media Search

I found them when I was researching AAF A2 Flying Jackets.

Edit: I just checked a couple of the photos - they seem to be having some issues with their database for the big ones. Hopefully it will be rectified in a day or so.

Great pictures, some not seen before.
A Hell of an achievement, launching B-25s off carriers the way they did. I did stumble accross a site which listed the fates of every crewman involved in the raid some months ago, but failed to record the URL. I think they also had a bloke killed on deck when he came into contact with a B-25 propeller.
Good stuff.
