Great photos Kitty. I particularly like the padlock on the Mossie hatch

Drool would affect the wood hence the padlock...

Quite embarrassing but I can't remember the Mossie from my visit to Cosford. Must dig those prints out.

As you walk into the WW2 hangar at the back, there is the Spit in front of you, the 109, Hurri and Mustang off to the right, the Cat behind them in the corner, and in front of her, directly behind the Spit as you enter, is the Mossie.
The Jap fighters are off to the left as you enter, and the Lincoln is on the very far left corner by the exit.

*Thinks about this*

OK add Cosford to the list with Formby and Alrewas

Oh, while Im thinking about it the Vulcan is no longer outside, shes the star exhibit in the new Cold War hangar which is feckin huge! Makes the old airfix kits hanging from cotton look somewhat lame.

The Cold War Hanger is excellent, you have a Canberra PR9 hanging from the roof, a F86 hanging from a side wall and a sliver Lightning hanging again from the roof pointing straight up!

What else should a Lightning do?!

...besides pull alongside Concorde and then accelerate away!

A present for Kitty...

Just for you, Kitty. I reckon you can ID the aircraft for yourself.

Not sure how recent the pic is but definitely last year.
