I got a copy of the edition in question and was underwelmed by the articles. I thought that they were all right for a school essay or even a first year uni essay but not for a serious magazine produced by the BBC!

The official intrepretation of the BofB - the plucky youths of fighter command slaying the once invincable Luftwaffe - is now under question and others, mainly navel types, what the RNs part in the battle to outshine that of the RAF! I, of course admit bias and tend to poo poo other versions of the battle.

However, I did not find the article on the BofB anywhere near convincing, it was full of sweeping generalisations and not too much detailed info.
