I have sort of "adopted" a local Memorial that stands in the front of a church about 10 minutes from me. Unlike the other two memorials within 10 minutes walking distance, this one doesn't get a lot of attention. The attached pictures are of the Pembroke Road Memorial, but not taken on Rembrance Day (I always feel odd taking pictures on the day). I have all the names listed but haven't had a chance to get their details off the CWGC.

and the Memorial about 2 mins from me on the Triangle, which is originally a Boer war Memorial (as can be seen by this 1907 postcard - it is virtually identical to now except around the Memorial there is grass, and the road around is very busy)
