| Depended on the CO and how stretched the Squadron was. I recall reading of one lad who turned up in the morning in his sports car, all his kit in the back. Within the hour he was up in the air in a dog fight. He never came back. Didn't even get to move into his first billet.
And nothing new. Just makes me admire the boys even more.
