A nice site about the Observation Squadron in Burma. The gallery is well worth a look.

And if anyone is interested in finding out more then I would recommend the book "Fire by Order: Story of 656 Air Observation Post Squadron RAF/RA in South East Asia, 1943-47" by Ted Maslen Jones (Pen & Sword Books Ltd 1997 ISBN: 0850525578)
