Hi I'm what they called a base brat
being raised on bases in Canada by a WW2 veteran whom was a prisoner of war in Germany.
I thought growing up on bases was wild and wouldn't trade it for anything.
I thought being raised by a prisoner of war was a little off the wall.
I think this site will be very informative and may give some of us an insite to why the military guys are the way they are.
I also think that no matter what war, or on what side they fought for, they will have a very interesting story to tell.
