| What a survivor. Just read about a similar character who escaped Dunkirk, escaped twice in the Far East, served behind the lines in Burma and then somehow managed to steal copious amounts of supplies to throw over to the air force compund in Rangoon Gaol - the criminals who were to be tried for bombing Burmese women and children. He was known as Pinky but I forget his name and the title of the book he wrote. Will find out and post. |
