Looks like me and 53 have something in common: both of us served at HMS GANGES both served on HMS ARK ROYAL.
I served on two Merchant Navy vessels so have that in common with you albeit much later on - I am younger than 53.
Good to have Navy - both Royal and Merchant - on the site. Swing that lamp!.
