The Polish underground would not give weapons to or support the Jews of the ghetto uprising in Warsaw.
The Polish underground were known to have huge stockpiles of machine guns, mortars and small arms but told the Jews, we will not support you.
Towards the end of the war the Poles expected the Russians to support them in their uprising. The Russians just sat back and waited for the Germans to slaughter the Poles.
