| The Japanese apparently examined the attack on Taranto by the FAA and realised they could deliver a significant blow at Pearl Harbor.
I've read this a number of times but am not sure whether it is just conjecture that has become "fact" as can only remember it in passing. The Japanese were certainly good students of air warfare so it sounds true! |
