Ahh, cheers Morse. That I didn't know. I recently bought Brian Cull's The Desert Hawks, about the Americans in the Israeli Air Force during their fight for Independence. There are a number of pictures of the 109s in Israeli colours. Howver, I've not had a chance to read the book.
