    Defaultpagoda hill

    Hi.
    Any members got any info on the battle of pagoda hill,Calvert,south Staffs.Am interested in Chindits in general,and this battle in particular.Have read most of accounts on net,and am trying to build picture of events.For example have never read an account that,actually says how long battle lasted.Have read Calverts'books.
    Any info ? Would be appreciated.

    I know this is an old post Mikky ..... and I really can't answer your questions but there were many Scousers in the Chindits ... and I thought you may be interested in the story of one who made the pilgrimage back a few years ago !!

    Sadly Jack passed away on the 16th June 2008 at the Royal Liverpool Hospital ...... Jack died peacefully in his sleep

    RIP Jack ..... I'm so glad you got to make your trip !
