Keith, I've just re-read the thread and am afraid I'm missing what has got you going. In no way are any sour grapes cast nor the memory of the sacrifices made altered to justify an argument. This is discussing the articles of an 18 month old magazine that contained arguments about whether Fighter Command's BoB victory was the main reason for the calling off of Operation Sealion.
Please point me at the posts that are treasonous and/or venomous. Don't forget that none of the posters above are regular BBC History readers. This particular issue featured articles of interest.
Or is your post directed at BBC readers and not fellow members of this forum? If so, why threaten termination of your membership here (when you know how we operate and the honour we have for those who served)?
