    Yes there certainly was such an animal.
    When I was building my 1/4 scale version Lysander, I stumbled on quite a few photographs and drawings on the net.
    Why not try copying this address "forum.keypublishing.co.uk/archive/index.php?t-54778.html",then click on "searching for the weirdest plane ever2, when the window opens.
    You will find this the one after my model picture.
    I believe it was not put into production in numbers.
    Then try punching "Westland P12" into the search address of your home page.
